 With Correctional Services' installation of new television networks we felt it was time to extend our boundaries into television. We had tried a few years earlier to launch our own television network but during the time it took to get permission from Correctional Services our sponsor went bankrupt and we had no other funds available to launch this.
It had always been our purpose to launch into television as it is an extremely powerful medium, especially for people who spend 23 hours a day between 4 walls. So in November 2007 we stepped out in faith and bought our first broadcast camera.
In January 2008 we took in our first intake of television production students from amongst the offenders in Pollsmoor and the rest... is history.
