 Although we don't believe that skills development is the sole answer to rehabilitation, we do believe that skills development, particularly in South Africa, contributes to creating hope and vision in the lives of individuals who had little or no previous education or tertiary training. This we believe, together with inner healing and a relationship with Jesus Christ is a recipe for sustainable rehabilitation and reintegration. Of all the students we have trained over the years we only know of two who returned to crime,
Alongside their training they are given opportunities to share about their own lives and struggles and to learn valuable life-skills that they can take with them into their journey through life. Even if they choose not to pursue a career in radio, the skills and life-skills they are taught help them to read and write better, build their confidence, and encourage their development in any career. Furthermore, they are all given the opportunity to turn their lives over to Jesus Christ.
