 In 2007, with the assistance of Internet Solutions, we launched our radio webstream onto the internet, giving us the opportunity to broadcast globally.
The main purpose of the webstream was to get our programmes out to other Correctional Centres. However, as Correctional Services were in the process of installing television networks in various Correctional Centres around the country, they felt it may conflict with their TV systems.
As we felt that the public would also benefit from listening to some of the offenders' programmes and that it would assist in breaking down the stigmitisation of offenders, we continued broacasting via the web under very restrictive conditions and only on a beta-testing basis. So as not to break any Correctional security protocols, anyone wishing to listen to the programmes needs to contact us for the web-link.
